William VernonJONES(William) Vernon JONES Vernon Jones of 101 Daleside Upton Heath Chester sadly passed away on July 10th 2020. He was at home with his Wife Ann Jones and Sons Timothy and Martin. He was born in Lower Gate Street Conwy on 30/12/30. He studied at John Bright School and Aberystwyth University. . After doing his national service he started teaching in Church Stretton where he met Ann Margaret Clarke. They were married almost exactly 60 years ago and moved to Chester. Vernon was deputy head of Overpool Primary School in Ellesmere Port between 1961 and 1988 when he retired. They have two sons Timothy and Martin and five grandchildren Sam Ruth Michael Rachel and Alice. There will be a private family service with one spray of flowers from the family. If anyone wishes to make a donation they can do so in his name at the Good Shepherd Hospice Chester.
